Welcome

I'm so excited to have you here. This blog has been a long time heart of mine and I'm so thrilled to finally begin the process of building it.

                           A Mother's Journey to Joy

My heart & vision for this platform is for many women to have a place to share their Journey
                                      We all have one, we are all walking one.
          Yours may look different from mine and mine may look different from yours.

Journey's bring us down paths of sorrow, loss, hope, restoration, renewal, pain, suffering & gain.
We grow in our relationships. We find healing in our sorrows. We see restoration where there was once despair.

We work. Take care of our families, our children, our husbands, possibly our mothers or fathers.
We wake up everyday, taking another breath and looking to the One who walks this journey with us.

                 Its is through Him that at the end of our journey we are able to find Joy!

So come along and join us as we share everyday life. Mother's sharing everything from; how they make a menu and budget to feed their family to organizing their homes. laundry, schooling, recipes.

Mother's sharing date night ideas. Vacation planning. Chores with their children.

                                 To more serious, hard life lessons and journeys.

     Divorce. The loss of a child. Sickness. Adultery. Bankruptcy. The loss of a husband.
 Separation. Drugs. Addiction. Abuse. Infertility. Adoption. Depression. Anxiety. Mental illness.

I know this is quite a broad spectrum, but this is life right?!  There are the everyday, mundane nessessties of life. There are also the unplanned hardships that we are forced to journey through.  Both spectrums can bring us to a place of hopelessness and rob us of all joy.

My prayer is that as you hear from women; Mother's & Wives that have journeyed, and some that continue to down this road, you will be encouraged. You will hear of the goodness of God. You will know that He loves you, both in the everyday journey of life and in the hardest of paths that we're called down.

                              You will show me the path of life;
                    In Your presence is fullness of joy;
      At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.    Psalms 16:11
